What is the West Central Intergroup of Maryland?
The primary purpose of the West Central Intergroup of Maryland, Inc. (WCI) is, like the individual AA group, to carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous. It is established to serve the groups in carrying out certain functions which are common to all groups, and which are best handled by a centralized office. These functions are described in some detail in the General Service Office publication: AA Guidelines-Central or Intergroup Offices. WCI Provides services to the AA groups of Frederick, Carroll and Montgomery Counties Maryland, USA.
